Winter Weather Advisory Issued for New York Counties

A winter weather advisory has been issued for several counties in New York, including Niagara, Orleans, Northern Erie (which includes the City of Buffalo), and Genesee Counties. The advisory will be in effect from 7:00 PM on Wednesday, December 4, until 4:00 AM on Thursday, December 5.
The region is expected to receive 3 to 7 inches of snow, accompanied by wind gusts reaching up to 50 mph. This may result in blowing and drifting snow, leading to reduced visibility on the roads. Wind chills are expected to be in the teens, with temperatures remaining below freezing through Friday.
Residents are advised to drive with caution on snow-covered roads and to allow extra time for travel. It is also recommended to stay updated on weather alerts for further information on conditions.
