**Travel Advisory Issued for Erie County, NY**
As of 3:00 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024, a travel advisory is in effect for the entire town of Aurora and all of southern Erie County. According to reports from the East Aurora Police Department, substantial snowfall totals have been recorded in the region today.
Weather forecasts indicate that a lake effect snow band is expected to affect the Town of Aurora and the Village of East Aurora starting Saturday morning. Conditions are anticipated to deteriorate throughout the day Saturday and continue into Sunday.
