**Buffalo Police Make Arrest in November Shooting Case**
Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Police Department announced on November 29, 2024, the arrest of a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on November 9, 2024, on the 100 block of Davidson Avenue.
The incident took place just after midnight, when officers responded to a shooting call and found a 44-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) for treatment.
Following the shooting, detectives from the Gun Violence Unit initiated an investigation and identified a suspect. On November 27, 2024, E district officers apprehended 24-year-old James Thomas of Buffalo on Bickford Avenue without incident.
James Thomas has been charged with one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, classified as a class A felony under New York State Penal Law.
