The weather forecast for Thanksgiving Day indicates that rain and snow will taper off from west to east throughout the day. Areas with higher terrain may see a few inches of snow accumulation, while no accumulation is anticipated at lower elevations. High temperatures will range from 34° to 40°, and lows will be between 24° and 30°.

Later tonight, lake effect snow showers are expected to begin south of Buffalo and east of Lake Ontario after a brief dry period this evening. This information is provided by the National Weather Service in Buffalo.
