Thousands of motorists are currently stranded on New York roads due to severe weather conditions. Between November 17 and November 21, heavy snowfall, referred to as "Snow-vember," significantly impacted travel.

The New York State Thruway is closed from Pennsylvania to Rochester, along with Interstate 190, Interstate 290, and Interstate 400. The storm began during peak rush hour, creating dangerous driving conditions and making travel nearly impossible.

Snowplows are struggling to keep up with clearing the roadways, contributing to the ongoing challenges for stranded motorists. The situation has led to widespread road closures across the region.

Authorities continue to advise against travel until conditions improve.
