**Free Online Autism Conference Scheduled for November 5, 2024**

Old Westbury, NY - The RCASD is hosting a free online autism conference titled "Teaching to Successful Outcomes: Supporting Children with Autism in the Home, School & Community" on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

The conference will feature a variety of sessions led by experts in the field. The schedule includes:

- **Jennifer Kourassanis-Velasquez, Ph.D., BCBA-D** will present "Unlocking Social Connections: Strategies for Teaching Social Skills to Children with Autism" from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM.

- **Robin DeLuca-Acconi, Ph.D., LCSW** will discuss "Trauma-Responsive Techniques for Youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder" from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM.

- **Kelly B. Beck, Ph.D., LPC, and Tim Wagner, EdD** will cover "Promoting Emotion Regulation in School-Aged Children with ASD: The Schools Unified in Neurodiversity (SUN) Project" from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM.

- **Gregory Hanley, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA** will deliver the keynote address titled "Today's ABA: An Effective and Humane Approach for Addressing Problem Behavior" from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

The target audience for the event includes educators, paraprofessionals, related service providers, families, and caregivers of individuals with autism.
