Rainy and cool weather is expected to continue throughout the day today and into the first half of the week. There is a possibility of snowfall in higher terrain areas on Monday and Tuesday nights. The areas with the greatest potential for snowfall include the Southern Tier and regions east of Lake Ontario, particularly the Tug Hill and western Adirondacks.

Temperatures today are expected to remain cool.

Looking ahead, rain showers are forecast to diminish by Wednesday, with dry conditions expected to return on Thursday and Friday. A warming trend is anticipated as we move into the weekend.
