Melvin Velasquez Located Safe: Thanks for Assistance!

The Buffalo Police Department announced that Melvin Velasquez, a 16-year-old boy, has been located safely. The department expressed gratitude to everyone who shared the information during the search.
Prior to being found, Melvin Velasquez was reported missing. He is described as standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time he went missing, he was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, a black shoulder bag, and white Nike sneakers.
He was last seen in the 700 block of Plymouth Street. The police had requested assistance from the public in locating him and urged anyone with information to call 911.
