The National Weather Service in Buffalo, New York, has reported that today, October 11, 2024, will be a breezy yet seasonably mild day. Temperatures are expected to be 5 to 10 degrees above normal.

This afternoon, wind gusts are forecasted to reach up to 40 mph in some areas. The robust high pressure system to the south will ensure plenty of sunshine throughout the day. However, a cold front is approaching and will bring a few showers east of Lake Ontario tonight, although it is classified as moisture-starved.
