A cold front that moved through the region has prompted a significant drop in temperatures, marking a shift towards more autumn-like weather. According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, New York, temperatures on Monday, October 7, 2024, are expected to be 15 to 20 degrees lower than the previous weekend, with daytime highs nearing 60 degrees. The forecast indicates that temperatures will remain in the 50s for most of the week. The cooler air is attributed to the passing cold front, which also brought strong storms the previous evening. This change in weather is expected to last through Thursday.
