First-Graders Code BeeBots for Thanksgiving Parade

East Aurora Union Free School District reports that first-grade students participated in a coding project involving BeeBots to simulate the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The students learned how the balloons for the parade are made, then created their own balloon models and attached them to the BeeBots. They programmed the BeeBots to navigate through a detailed Lego city built by the Boys and Girls Club morning students. This city included elements such as traffic lights and a McDonald's, along with intricate details within the buildings. Mrs. Kaminski expressed appreciation for the Boys and Girls Club students’ efforts, which the first graders thoroughly enjoyed.
