Today, the weather will be mainly cloudy with intermittent showers expected throughout the day. High temperatures will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s in the early part of the day but are forecasted to become steady or gradually decrease in the afternoon.

Winds will start from the southwest at 10 to 20 mph, with gusts reaching 35 to 45 mph this morning. As the day progresses, the winds will shift to the west and begin to diminish.

In terms of climate statistics, the average high temperature for this date is 52°F in Buffalo, 53°F in Rochester, and 50°F in Watertown.

According to the National Weather Service in Buffalo, these showers will provide much-needed rainfall.
