An unseasonably warm day is expected today, with temperatures forecasted to be 20 to 25 degrees above normal in several cities across the region.

In Buffalo, the high temperature is predicted to reach 77 degrees, just two degrees shy of the record high of 79 degrees set in 2022. This is 25 degrees above the normal high of 52 degrees for this time of year.

Rochester is also projected to see a high of 77 degrees, which ties the record high set in 2022. This marks a difference of 24 degrees above the normal high of 53 degrees.

In Watertown, the forecasted high is 73 degrees, which is 22 degrees above the normal high of 51 degrees and just four degrees short of the record high of 77 degrees set in 2022.

The Weather Forecast Office in Buffalo has noted that clouds in the morning will clear, leading to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon.
